DO I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO SWIM?
Yes. Every participant must be able to swim unaided.

If you are not yet comfortable swimming or floating independently, we strongly encourage you to take swimming lessons before booking.
ARE YOU LICENSED AND INSURED?
Absolutely.
Get Out and Kayak Malta is a licensed watersports provider registered with Transport Malta. We operate throughout the territorial waters of Malta, Gozo and Comino and maintain appropriate insurance coverage for our kayaking and drone activities.
Organisations, schools, companies and event coordinators may request copies of our credentials by contacting us.

WHERE WILL OUR TOUR BEGIN?
As a mobile operator, we select the most suitable launch site according to the latest weather and sea conditions, the planned route and the experience of the group.
You’ll receive full details about your meeting point and start time 24 to 72 hours before your tour. The location may change at shorter notice if conditions develop unexpectedly.
If you don’t have a car, most locations can be reached using public transport, eCabs or Bolt.

IS IT TRUE THAT I MIGHT BE ON YOUTUBE OR OTHER SOCIALS?
Photos and video may be taken during our activities for use on our website, YouTube and social media.
You may opt out of being deliberately photographed or filmed by informing us before departure. However, complete privacy cannot be guaranteed in public areas or in wider group footage.

DO YOU HAVE LOCKERS TO PUT YOUR STUFF WHILE YOU KAYAK?
We don’t have lockers as we are a mobile outfit, but each kayak includes storage hatches (or areas) and a 10 to 15L dry bag for your belongings.
Please remember that nothing on the sea is 100% waterproof, so bring only what you can afford to lose.
DO I NEED A PARTNER?
Not at all.
Many guests join us on their own, while others paddle with friends, partners, or family members.
Our main fleet includes stable solo or tandem kayaks that can be paddled comfortably by one person or two.
Children under ten can often ride in the centre seat of a tandem kayak free of charge on selected family tours using our Rainbow Orca fleet of sit-on-tops.
Want to see the Orcas in detail?
Visit Rainbow Kayaks Orca Expedition or watch them in action on our YouTube Channel.
We also have sit-inside options, both single and tandem, available in non-summer months only (generally).
How much is a guided tour?
Most three-hour guided tours cost approximately €45 to €55 per paddler, depending on the route and whether you select tandem or solo seating.
Prices vary according to duration, location, kayak choice, group size and event type. Current prices are displayed on each relevant booking page.
Private tours and group packages are also available, please email us.
We do not offer unguided kayak rentals.
