FAQ Page

Have a question?

We’ve got you covered.

Whether you want to know how our tours work, how rentals are handled, or what gear and brands we trust on the water, you’ll find most of it right here in our FAQ.

If your question is not answered below, just reach out. Our crew is always happy to help and make sure you get the info you need before you hit the water.

DO I NEED A PARTNER?

Our main rental fleet features the Rainbow Orca Expedition, a stable sit-on-top kayak that is 4.2 meters long (just over 14 feet).

While these kayaks are designed for two paddlers, they are also perfectly capable of being handled by one. Many of our guests, from younger paddlers to those with a bit more life experience, paddle them solo with ease.

So, do you need a partner? Not necessarily.

Some prefer sharing the paddle time with a buddy, others enjoy the freedom of going solo. The choice is entirely yours.

Children under ten ride free and can sit comfortably in the middle seat in a non-paddling position.

Want to see the Orcas in detail?

Visit Rainbow Kayaks Orca Expedition or watch them in action on our YouTube Channel.

We also have sit-inside options, both single and tandem, available in non-summer months only generally.

ARE YOU LICENSED AND INSURED?!?

Absolutely.

We are fully certified and licensed to operate as a watersport provider in Malta, and we’re registered with Transport Malta.

Our license covers all territorial waters of Malta, Gozo, and Kemmuna.

We are also fully insured, including our drone operations.

Event coordinators or HR departments can request our credentials by emailing us.
