Start your day on the water with a guided sunrise sea kayak adventure from Mistra Bay to St Paul’s Islands. We’ll meet before dawn, complete a full safety briefing and launch while the coastline is still waking up. After watching the sunrise from the water, we’ll explore around St Paul’s Islands, stop for a swim and paddle back to Mistra Bay. This approximately three-hour experience is suitable for beginners and experienced paddlers. Participants must be able to swim unaided and have a reasonable level of fitness. EVENT DETAILS 📅 Saturday, 15 August 📍 Mistra Bay ⏰ Meet: 5:20 AM 🦺 Safety briefing: 5:30 AM 🛶 Launch: approximately 5:50 AM 🌅 Sunrise: approximately 6:20 AM ⏱️ Duration: approximately 3 hours 💶 From €55 per person on solo sit on top kayak 💶 45 eur each paddler on tandems (90 eur total) ROUTE Mistra Bay → St Paul’s Islands → Swimming and exploration stop → Mistra Bay INCLUDED • Sit-on-top sea kayak • Paddle • PFD and safety whistle • Dry bag • Guidance from qualified Paddle UK Sea Kayak Leaders • Photos from the adventure REQUIRED • Water-resistant head torch or headlamp (mainly for prep time on land) PLEASE BRING • Drinking water • Swimwear and towel • Sun protection • Secure footwear suitable for getting wet • Any personal medication you may require PRIVATE KAYAK OWNERS Paddlers bringing their own suitable kayak are welcome to join after making a donation of their choosing directly to Inspire Malta through Kayak for Charity: https://inspire.org.mt/donate/kayak-for-charity IMPORTANT INFORMATION • Participants must be able to swim unaided • There are no toilets, showers or shops at Mistra Bay • Submitting the booking form does not automatically confirm your place • Payment will be requested after your booking and waiver have been reviewed and weather has been confirmed • The activity is weather dependent • Route and timings may change for safety reasons • Wildlife sightings, including dolphins, are possible but never guaranteed • Photos and video may be taken.
